Business Website
With the Internet growing to enormous proportions it has become an everyday way of life for the majority of people. Most people have a computer and most of those people have the Internet. Even if they don't have a computer they can gain access to the Internet somewhere like a library or Internet Cafe. While Many businesses are realising the potential of the Internet and having their own business website to inform people about their business and what it has to offer, even sell to a wider audience with shopping carts. Some people just refuse to realise the potential of having a business website. Having a business website can allow you to reach people who don't know you are there and keep current customers up to date on products and services etc. Many people now turn to the Internet to find businesses, or to find out what products/services they have to offer and pricing by looking at their business website. People like to visit a business website and see what that business has to offer for them before they leave the house. I am one of those people my self. I don't want to drive for 10 - 30 minutes looking for a business to find out they don't have what I thought they did and have to go to another business when I can just visit their business website. The new term people use is not so much "I'll look it up in the Yellow Pages" anymore, but now has become "I will just Google it". When they use a search engine to find a business website they get contact details, location, products/services, pricing, sales/discounts and any other information before they leave the house. Gone are the days of going to the only local business specialising in what they want. People now have variety and convenience. They can go to any number of places they want not just yours. A business website can be good for the businesses that are in a bad location or slow location. This is because people have more trouble finding you or just don't see you as they drive past on their way to the well know franchise. Having a business website can help people find your small business by simply going onto your business website and checking out the location. "Do you have a business website?" or maybe I should ask "Do your Competitors have a business web site?". If your competitors have a business website they could be stealing some of your customers. Don't let them get away with it any longer.
